hello-
i finally received my black macbook, and was setting things up.
everything was working fine except i can't change the picture on my user account...
i even set the photo i want to use to their specified size in jpeg. still didn't work. it does change on the window that's right next to 'edit' button under user account window, but when i go somewhere else and come back (including restarting the system), it goes back to the default (or whatever i chose as a place holder from 'apple pictures' when initially setting up the system). and of course i hit 'set' button before moving away from that window.
i had no problem doing this with my macbook pro and as trivial as this problem is, i'm wondering if anyone else had encountered the same/a similar problem...if so how did you resolve it?
