Hello,

You know the sound the MBP makes when you wake it up? Sounds like the cd-rom when you put a CD in or eject.

Anyways, when I put the lid down, it keeps making that noise every once in awhile.

I have a bluetooth mouse, could this be the problem? Or could it be that its not going to sleep when I put the lid down?

That is the optical drive waking from sleep.

That is a sign you're MBP is waking up from sleep.

Sounds like the mouse. Can you turn it off? Or else, try changing this setting
Sys Prefs > Keyboard & Mouse > Bluetooth > Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer
