Call Apple and get their advice. Tell them you bought ram from them and the screw to the laptop won't come out. If they tell you to send it in for repair do it.

Any other advice is bad advice since the machine is still under warranty.

With the cost of Apple parts you are asking for it if you try anything risky.

I had this exact problem with a powerbook I had last year. I hate to tell you this but I had to take it into an apple store to get it out. It didn't have to be held for repair, but the guy who helped me did have to take it to the back to get it out.

This isn't something you necessarily need to take to Apple. Other computers have tiny screws like that and I bet any local computer store would be able to get the screw out without invalidating the warranty.

Good idea, also put the other screws in and try the one that is stripped first...the other screws in should relieve some of the tension on the stripped screw.
