Well, this is my first mac and now that I've gotten past the first hour of me sitting here hating it, I absolutely love it. It's a MBP c2d with the 15 inch glossy screen.
Basically my only question is, is it possible to disable the sleep when closing the lid? I am either missing the option or it's something you don't want to do. I really can't find any info on it, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
PS. If this is a completely dumb question, feel free to flame me.
From what I know, to disable it from sleeping when you close the lid, just connect and external mouse, keyboard, and display. Then it won't sleep, or something similar.
Out of curiosity, why did you hate it in the first hour?
Ahh ok, that's the only thing that's kind of irking me but I'll get used to it.
I hated it at first because I was 100% PC and just the switch was a little tough to get used to. Also I downloaded AIM for OS X which turnt out to be terrible. i'm running Adium right now which is great.
