I have almost convinced my wife that Santa is bringing a MacBook PRO, but one last question...

Is it possible to hook up a 24" external LCD to it? Kind of like using it as a desktop? What would be the max resolution it could drive on a 24" LCD? (Lots of good deals out there on 24" monitors right now)

Thanks for this last advice... Again, should I focus on which one of the 15.4" MBP? I noticed one had 128 VRAM, the other 256 VRAM? Will that make a difference?

Thanks in advance -

You can run a 30" monitor on 2560 X 1600. So no problem with a 24" monitor. It depends on what you will use the MPB for. If you want to play games, perhaps 256 MB is better...
