I Have a ti 1gz powerbook that from time to time will lock the screen up when moved,Requiring a reboot to clear. There is a loud clicking sound just before the lock up Ive been told it could be the Hard Drive is failing, but is there anything else that will cause this.Thanks for any help

Yes, the hard drive is definately failing; back up your files immediately. A few months ago, my Powerbook did the same thing. (I too have a ti 1 GHz.)

Also, check and see what disk utility says about your current hard drive. See if it can perform a repair.
