Hi everyone
After some research couldn't find any answer to my problem.
Well it is quite hard to explain the problem in few words...

When my battery is getting close to be depleted (0%) it put itself to sleep. So far everything' good.
But 1 out of 2-3 time it won't go into sleep it will shut the screen off and even when I plug it it won't come back to life I have to do a hard-reset (reboot).
Getting worst, last night it was showing like 3-4% battery and it did it! Black screen (not in sleep) had to hard-reset it losing everything I'm doing!

Anyone have had same kind of prob??

Powerbook G2 12" 1Ghz, 1.25Go RAM
Battery (bought on eBay about 1 year ago) not original Apple and it still hold 1,5 - 2 hr of charge.

thanks

I had a similar problem with my 12 inch PB 1.33 with its OEM battery. When it got to a lowish charge, the PB would not go to sleep but would just suddenly die, requiring it to be plugged in and rebooted. Luckily, the battery was recalled by Apple, and when I installed the new battery, the problem was solved.

I would suggest using a battery monitoring utility like coconutBattery to get a better idea of how much life your battery still has.

Thanks,
But I'm a very happy 10.3.9 user! ;-)

I'll try to find something like it. I do believe too that my problem is related to ma battery.
