last night before i went to bed, i set my computer to re-encode my MP3's to AAC's.
I have roughly 8000 files.
It got about roughly 1000 in and locked up.
I closed all other programs and set no screensaver or sleep or anything like that.
Any idea of what happened?
it is no big deal as i am re-encoding them now.
Just trying to get a grasp on what could have happened.

Its probably one of the many holes in iTunes 7, not your computer.
