Hi,

I recently bought a MacBook and I am really impressed with the laptop.

I have one question though. I make music and use Propellerhead Reason and Steinberg Cubase SX which mean I need 2 monitors to work. My question is would it be possible to get an adaptor to plug my NEC TFT monitor to my MacBook as I have noticed the Macbook only has a DVI input? My other question is when my NEC TFT monitor is connected to my MacBook will the display on my MacBook work at the same time as my TFT monitor? As I need 2 screens to work on.

Please advise

I am assuming you are saying that the external display is VGA. You just need the mini-DVI to VGA adaptor as mentioned on the tech specs for your machine:

Apple - MacBook - Technical Specifications

They have them at any Apple store or online.

And of course they'd work at the same time. You can either mirror you desktop or span between the internal and external displays to make one big desktop.

The MacBook only has (mini)DVI output, not DVI input. If your NEC TFT has DVI input, then just plug it in with the miniDVI-DVI adapter; if your NEC TFT has VGA, buy the miniDVI-VGA adapter and plug it in. You can mirror or span.
