I need a new battery for my wife's 12" PB. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with Bargain Basement Batteries (New Apple M9572GA Compatible Laptop Battery) or Titan Notebook (Apple A1022 M8984G/A PowerBook Titanium G4 12 Inch 4.4Ah Laptop Battery)? I don't want to spend a lot of money, but I will if it means my battery won't blow up.

I'd order one from OWC (other world computing) their design gives longer run times and are only $100 or so dollars. I am very happy with their Nue Tech batteries I purchased for my iPods.

The OWC ones are actually $139, so I just ended up buying one from Apple because it doesn't seem that many people have bought a 3rd party battery other than OWC. I decided to not take the risk. Thanks for your reply.

I did see that they have really cheap iPod batteries so I think I will pick one up for my 2nd gen iPod that has no battery life.
