hey guys just curious how sturdy is the connecting piece from the monitor to the laptop and do wires run through it? im scared of pushing my screen back all the way I feel like its not sturdy and will crack or something

Of course there's wires. Otherwise the screen wouldn't even work. It should be pretty sturdy, tough.

Yes, it does have wires running through it. It's not designed to bend flat all the way to the desk, so be careful with it. Just gently push it and when it stops moving, that's how far back it is designed to go. I wouldn't worry about breaking it though, unless you're putting some serious pressure on the hinge.
