Is the wireless card in the Core Duo unit not on the main board? If so, can we get an upgrade to use 802.11n on the 1st Gen MBP?

Belkin has announced a 802.11n Wireless ExpressCard.
So there's still hope for the MBP Core Duo owners.

Yeah, that's a bummer. I really don't want a card sticking out of the side, but I would like 802.11n...

the 1st gen mbp's DO have pre-N capability. however i cant imagine that the new airport wouldnt support regular CD's. the C2D's are essentially the same machine with a newer processor in them.

The Dlink 108Mbps hardware is a MIMO 802.11g implementation, not 802.11n.

None of the Core Duo Macs are listed as .11n compatible http://www.apple.com/wireless/80211/

Did I miss something?
