Hey guys, I'm planning on selling a 15" Powerbook G4 (high rez). It's not the one in my sig, but my brother's. He'll be going to dental school this upcoming fall and sadly, they are forcing him to buy a Dell machine. Either way, he feels it's pointless to have 2 laptops, so he agreed to give me his. I agreed to give my Powerbook (specs in sig) to my mom, and with the money with my brother's Powerbook, I'll be buying a newer MBP.
Anyways, if you guys could help me with a ballpark range for this Powerbook, I would greatly appreciate it! Here are the specs:
Model: PowerBook G4
Display: 15.2-inch (diagonal), 1440 x 960 resolution, TFT widescreen
Processor: 1.67GHz PowerPC G4 processor
Memory: 2x1GB PC2-4200S-444 DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 with 128MB of DDR SDRAM and dual-link DVI
Hard disk drive: 80GB Ultra ATA/100; 5400 rpm
Slot-loading optical drive: 8x SuperDrive (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
It is just over a year old (purchased in 2005 December). No blemishes, dinks, scratches, etc.
How is this guy worth? Thanks for the help!

eBay auctions for 15"/1.67Ghz/2GB/80GB/Super are going for $900-1200.. I'd guess the lower-end prices are for the lower resolution version of the same, so figure $1000-1200 for yours.

The EveryMac prices seem about right... a $200 retail markup over the eBay price.

It's worth adding that the HD 15" PB will drive a 30" monitor, unlike its predecessors . That will make it more valuable to some people. The EveryMac site doesn't say that. Also, many people found the original HD screen flawed and Apple ultimately replaced them with a better screen if you complained.
