ibook polishing???

	I just purchased a "new" ibook off of ebay, it is a 2005 model so I am sure it will have some scratches, has anyone used a car wax or swirl remover to take out some of the scratches? Is there a known fixer-upper instead? TIA I am looking forward to becoming an apple guy!
