I have a MBP with 1 gig ram. I have istat to keep tabs on all the system stuff. I have noticed a slow down in operation on most programs. All i have is ichat, itunes, safari, and ical. I saw that I'm using 965mb with 56mb left.... does this sound right? I dont think any other program is eating away that much memory. Suggestions would be great! Thanks

Free memory is wasted memory. The system uses excess memory as cache.
How much memory is inactive?
