It is the Pleomax 80GB USB 2.0 2.5" HD.

-It works on the PC in our house.
-It works on the MacBook I tested it on in the mall.

.....Up to my Powerbook however, it just clicks rather than spins. And the power LED blinks arather than stays illuminated.

I even bought a "Multi-Voltage" power adapter and cooresponding adapter plug from Radio Shack. My thinking was that the unit wasn't getting enough power. I was correct. Upon supplying it with auxillary power (with USB plug still plugged in), I can hear it spinning and the LED light stays on...however, no recognition by the Powerbook.

Anyone with one of these things want to help me out please. I got it new for $55 so I'd like to make it work rather than return it.

Thanks so much!
