I hate to bring up the sparkle/grain argument again but the one time when I do notice grain is when I play DVDs. Does anyone know of a filter or some type of post-processing that I can use to reduce this video-grain? Anyone experience similar results when playing DVDs or high quality video on their macbook pro? I first noticed the grain that people spoke of when I watched the quicktime HD gallery on my sister's macbook ( http://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/hd/ ), specifically those with snow in them. Try it out and tell me if you experience similar, i bet you will. But back to the original question: can we find a fix?
