Speck Needs more colors for their lineup - Red and Clear just ain't gonna do! I think Green and Orange are a must. Just follow the lead of the nanos . . .

They've got a blue one now. Hopefully a sign of more colors to come...

there's another company that sells similar plastic shells that have other colors and designs. they don't have the slits that speck has, but it is an alternative. (i can't remember what the name is, though). they actually were selling on ebay, one-of-a-kind design prototypes (more elaborate designs, like dragons) that they made for macworld expo. they advertised it on the macrumors forums.

personally, i think it is a little too "attention drawing" to have other colors besides grey, black, or white. it just doesn't look professional. to me, it seems like talking just to hear your own voice. or disliking something just because it is "mainstream." but hey, apple's motto was "think different"

You're probably thinking of MacSkinz. They're pretty much D.O.A. until they can get their manufacturing process and a location taken care of...and it has been a year, if not more, since that came about.
And yes, it is about being able to "think different".
