I just got my ibook from ebay and when i started internet explorer, i could go to Yahoo mail website but the fields for username and password are invisible to me. i also noticed that all the other websites that i visited are too "big" for my ibook screen. I am not a mac user and am used to IBM type laptops. I tried to go to the Monitor Control Panel but changing the resolution didn;t help. Can anyone tell me how can i configure my internet explorer or ibook so that the contents fit nicely on my ibook screen and all the fields on Yahoo mail will be visible to me? Thanks

First of all, which iBook: clamshell or white? If it's clamshell, it can only go up to 800x600. Second, what OS: OS 9 (Classic) or Mac OS X? If it's OS X, you should not be using Internet Explorer. Use Safari or Firefox. IE has not been updated in years and probably doesn't work well with a lot of web sites. I'm guessing OS 9 because you mention the Monitor control panel instead of Displays preferences. I'd update to OS X if you can.
