It's time for a Mac Pro update. MacBook Pro won't see an update for another 2-3 months.

updated as in speed bump, that happen all the time with Intel cpu.
updated as in new design? my guess will be a yr or 2 down the road.

in case you haven't notice, Apple is too busy coming out with new and better iPod/entertainment stuff where they make all their recent money, computer is going to be second tier imo as far as Apple is concern.
Do not settle for the world in shades of grey

This discussion has nothing to do with MacBook Pros or PowerBooks specifically so the discussion should probably be kept in the Lounge.

I thought about posting there, but most things that end up there are entirely off-topic when it comes to Apple hardware. So, I thought it more fit to be here.

Apple usually announces on Tuesdays. Add that to today being Presidents' Day makes Tuesday or even Wednesday much more likely for any announcements planned for this week.

Since the redesign the Lounge is now kind of the catchall for Apple hardware stuff that can be in all of the categories. Don't worry about it. Just a little heads up
