Is screen crack covered in warranty

I have a 17 inch mbp with normal warranty and the screen that was somehow cracked or something? there is a green line of pixels 1 pixel wide running from top to bottom of my screen. I did not drop it or anything, i hae had my computer for 91 days, can this be fixed by apple for free?

If the screen is truly cracked, it will not be covered under warranty.

A single green line running from top to bottom doesn't sound like a crack, however, and it may be covered under warranty, depending on what they find when they look at it.

Take it to your nearest Apple Store/Authorized Service Center.

yay the line faded away, its weird, i hav pics be4 it faded away, is there an explanation?

I would have it checked .... LCD screens often have a vertical line appear due to damage. Sometimes one of the wires connecting to mother board is crimped. Bad indication of things to come! If you show to Apple genuis and it reocurs, you can show it is a defect and not from a "future accident"!

Romeosc is right. If its just a line of pixels its usually due to a loose/bad connection. You'd know if you had a crack. Its big and ugly!
