Dear All,

Just transferred via migration assistant all of my info from 12 inch to c2d. To make a long story short, the c2d has to go back to apple b/c of an issue with the fan. So, I migrated all back to 12 inch. When I go to log in, it does not recognize my pw, so I AM LOCKED OUT OF MY 12 INCH. And I need to send back c2d ASAP. If I had the Tiger OS, I would just start up from that disk and restore and then transfer, but I sent my OS disk to my brother who had a problem with his. Any ideas on how to reset password? I can get my 12 inch hd to show up as an external disk, but I don't know how to change access privledges from there.

Suggestions much appreciated

You can do it in single user mode. Do a search.
