We moved several server to VMWare and now have a bag full of RAM spare ...
Since this RAM cost between 500$ and 700$ each I obviously don't look for a cheap option

Since I have quite a few sticks of them it would be great if I can save some money when ordering a Mac Pro with 16 GB RAM...

It is the right type of RAM, but it doesn't appear to have the oversized heatsinks that the Mac Pro needs (due to lack of airflow).

Alright, thanks. But that means I can at least try I got about 16 sticks of 2 GB here so if one dies not a big issue .. but I can at leasy TRY to save some money
