Does anyone know how to go about remove the top aluminum screen cover on a MBP? I want to change the colour of the Apple logo as I'd done with my iBook G4, but I can't quite figure out how to disassemble the screen -- and I don't want to experiment by wedging and prying.

Thanks.

You have to take the entire thing apart. In order to get to the screws at the bottom of the screen, the whole display assembley needs to come out. In order to do this, you need to take the bottom case apart, first.

See: [Link]

Bear in mind, you'll probably void your warranty by doing this.

Good luck,
