I bought the white macbook about a month and a half ago. The surface around the trackpad has begun to show discoloration. The only protection I found in the online Apple Store was the iSkin keyboard cover, but that doesn't cover the area below the keys.
Is there anything I can do to stop further discoloration, or remove the current discoloration?

I'm using the Moshi Palmguard - it includes a trackpad cover as well. I installed it on my white Macbook the second week I got it, and everything is fine. The palmrest covers haven't even gotten dirty... I'm very happy with this set.

Here's a link: moshi - palmguard

If it's heavy discoloration then take it to the Apple Store, it's under warranty and can be replaced. Now if it's just dirt and grime try using the iKlear package, just some cleaning spray and cloths, or ive heard a mr. clean magic eraser does wonders too.
