The whole airport thing with mac...Will my macbook (coming in a few days) get internet from my Linksys wireless g broadband router or will I have to buy a special airport dock?
I assume it will work but asking just to be on the safe side.
Networking doesn't care what brand the computer is because it's all based on standards that the various computer and networking device manufacturers comply with. So matty-uk is right; your Linksys router will work fine with your MacBook. I'm using a MacBook Pro with my Linksys G access point right now-my wife's iBook connects with it all the time too. So problems.

I have a Dlink 514 and my iBook connects with that no problem at all.
