I needed a new battery for my powerbook Aluminum G4 12 inch and search for some reviews on battery to no avail. After weeks of surfing the net, I found the Newer technology battery... advertised 5000mA and $30 more than the other brands. , I made the decision to purchase one at OWC . Big mistake, a waste of my time.
Battery sucks...
1. Color doesn't match
2. Battery doesn't fit correctly Got pictures, let me know if you wanna see the pics
3. Battery indicator doesn't work either, you press the button in to check the battery status and it gets stuck
4. System Power Settings shows 4400mA full charge capacity
5. Request another one from OWC, no problem, they sent out another one. Same problems...

Any suggestions out there?

Also if you're having so much problems, just get a refund and buy an apple battery.

Yes I calibrated the battery. I returned the battery for a refund and they charged me 15% re-stocking fee for garbage that doesn't work.
I would never order anything from those a-holes. Buyer beware...

I just sent back my (supposedly) 6000mAh battery for a 17" PB..... Well it was 6000mAh for about an hour - after two months of usage it was down to 3300.... What a load of bull s***! What is worse is that I am in the UK and had to sent it all the way across the Atlantic - not exactly cheap to get a replacement that is probably just as bad!
