Hi All

I am not that often online and do not follow much on the mac machines updates.
Will anyone be kind enough to tell me how things look like?
A friend of mine has finaly decided to switch and will do with an iBook, sorry Mac Book so I would like her to have the best experience, meaning starting with brand new hardware and new OS.
That was my question actually, when will 10.5 come out? Might be new macbooks with it?

Cheers.

There are rumors of 15" Macbooks to be released in the summer.

Unliekly. The MacBook hardware is relatively current, and little is on the horizon to change that. The Santa Rosa chip-set will lead to updates, but it is not out yet, nor has it been bragged about by Intel recently, and Intel always spoils the surprise by talking.
