802.11n on Powerbook G4

Has anyone been able to find an 802.11n solution for the powerbook. Either a USB or PC card is preferable.

I had heard somewhere you could plug in an 802.11n access point to the ethernet port to get the 802.11n to work, but those usually require external power, and so are not the best solution for a portable system.

I'm pretty sure that no such solutions exist. It's an issue of drivers: none of the main manufacturers make 'em (Linksys, D-Link, Belkin) for OS X, so unless and until Apple does something, you're out of luck.

Of course an external base station with ethernet would work, that's the whole point. But as you point out you're going to need a power supply with it, and that's without the messing around…
