I'm replacing my Macbook 60GB hard drive with a 160GB drive, and have bought an external enclosure to put my 60GB in (and use for backing up stuff).

However the Macbook drive has TORX screws on the sides which are preventing it from fitting into the enclosure (the screws are holding the thin metal covering the drive which has the white tab on it).

Anyone know what size TORX screw i need??

Why wait. Get one at Sears for under $5.

I ran into that same problem when replacing my 60 gig hd. I didn't realize I needed the torx until I had it all apart, luckily I was able to find one laying around. I would definitely suggest just going and buying one though, I could never wait for shipping on a screwdriver when my new hard drive is already here! lol, good luck!
I was able to pay for my new macbook

So you put the new drive into your MacBook without the torx screws?
