Is there any difference in terms of warranty or getting support from Genius bar and Apple if I buy from Amazon.com? The difference in buying from amazon.com is the $75 rebate for a white macbook (1G RAM and 80GB HD). I don't need custom configuration as I will do it myself when I need more RAM and HD.

No difference, supportwise. You may also save on the sales tax.

Just found out Microcenter is offering $150 rebate for the white MacBook and the basic configuration of the MacBook Pro

Not a bad deal, but again, make sure to take into account sales tax + shipping if you want to compare prices.

Keep in mind that Microcenter may have a special going to clear out inventory before new models come out or before Apple's back-to-school specials are announced.

Retail strategy entails selling what you've got before Apple preempts all sales by announcing new models or new deals.
