Is it bad for a harddrive to be at an angle?

I had the iCurve, now the Elevator (which sucks compared to the iCurve) and now I'm thinking about this:

All of these are laptop stands that lift the laptop to a normal display height. The problem is, the keep the harddrive at an angle, as seen in the above link. Is this bad for the harddrive?

Is your laptop hard drive ever parallel or perpendicular to the ground? Mine rarely is.
