Hey guys, new MBP owner here.

Just a quick question for the recent new MBP owners. I understand that Apple just recently moved away from the Matsu superdrvies and has started using LG drives (specifically, mine is HL-DT-ST DVDRW GWA4080MA).

I've noticed that the "thumping" sound when a disc is inserted seems a good bit louder than it did with a previous MBP I owned back in November (which I assume had a Matsu drive). Has anyone else noticed that the LG superdrives seem to be a bit louder?
