I've just bought BMP 15 inch about 1 month ago. I got problem with battery. The thing is that is not diplay accurately the time remaning. For example, when it's on 70%, the time remaining is 2h17', the it jumps to 2h20', then jumps to 2h28' remaning...the time remaning not discount as it should be. I already check my battery serial number in Support department of official site and they said my battery is not defective. So, what wrong with my battery?

It is just the way those meter work, it is really just a estimated of remaining time based on usage history and amp left.

but for what reason why the time display is random like that?

It's not random. As the computer notes its power usage, it changes the PROJECTED length of time it can continue to run on that battery. But do make sure you calibrate that battery so the charge indication is valid. That way, the projected time display will be as close as possible to being accurate.

As ghporter noted, that number is dynamic. It changes based on the power usage you're currently using. In other words, if your screen is on full-bright with airport on and a few open apps, your projected batterylife will be less then if your screen is mostly-dim, w/ no airport, and only Pages or Word open. It's not meant as a specific indication of the time you have left - since power usage can vary widely (i.e. you might get 3 hours w/ normal usage, but 45 minutes encoding video, etc.) that would be impossible to measure. Your percentage indicator is a far more accurate gauge of how much battery you actually have left.
