I have a core duo and went looking for a wireless N adapter to maximize speed on my new airport extreme network.

Anyone know if this will work for me?

No, that's an older PC Card and it doesn't appear OS X will support it anyway.

I don't know of any 802.11n 34mm ExpressCards with OS X support at the moment.

Why not just buy the Mac Pro 802.11n adapter and install it internally?

Mac Pro 802.11n adapter, internally....tell me more.

Though i'm a tad hesitant to butcher the internals of my Macbook Pro, i could be persuaded.

You buy the $49 802.11n card for the Mac Pro from an Apple reseller. You tear apart your MacBook Pro and install it. It voids your warranty, but works.

See the million billion threads in the MBP/PB and MB/iB threads about doing it.
