So I attached my dvi monitor to the dvi to minidvi adapter to my macbook and the quality is crappy. i can see pixels even thought monitor is doing it native res @75 hz. Anyone else experiencing this?

set the resolution of the screen? Screen might be crap anyway? lol, only suggestions.

Are you mirroring? Turn it off.

If you're spanning make sure to select the max. resolution for your external display form the display menu (or System Preferences).

What is the resolution of your display?
Show us a picture of your Displays preference pane.
Show us a screen capture of a window from your external display so we can see the pixels.

I just fixed it by changing the refresh to 60hz instead of 75hz
