Hello, I am trying to salvage my PowerBook G4 17" 1.5 Ghz laptop after taking a couple drops. The last fall cracked the screen and damaged the power plug in. So i am looking for anybody out there who has a PowerBook they are parting out or some spare parts lying around.

eBay will be another place,as well as:
Aluminum 17" - iFixit: iPod, iBook, & PowerBook Parts and Accessories
Mac Repair, PC Repair - MacService etc
google for more sites. Going to set you back atleast $900+.I will not just get it from anybody like off eBay. Especially salvaged untested ones. Went through this process with my PB 15"HR. Will not wish it on anybody. Might think about getting a good used PB for a few $ more Good luck

Thanks for the tips Wubrew. I am looking at this as a hobby project, so i won't be spending $900 on a display. If i can get a PowerBook with a crapped out bottom then i should be good. I am wondering if all PowerBook G4 17" displays are interchangeable?
