I bought a Refub MBP 15" 2.16ghz core 2 cuo 1gig ram four months ago. Recently Ive been having a few problems and im wondering if this is normal or not.

1) It has been getting really hot for no reason recently. Right now it's been running for 10 mins and all im using it safari and its 75C. Is this normal?

2) About once a week the fan starts up (even when its not hot) and starts to run and never stops. Im not sure if its the fan or harddrive noise. but you can hear it 'running' and it gets kinda loud and it wont stop until you either turn it off or close it

3) My battery is down to 1 1/2 life after a full charge. When I first go it it was 3 hours...so in 4 months it's down half of what it started with. I expected it to lose battery life over time but is this normal for it to go this quickly? and does this mean in 6months it'll be down to an hour? a year less then 45mins? I do use the batter throughout the week and i'm constintly going thru its entire life and then charging it back up (almost daily or every other day).

Thats all that comes to mind right now. Another thing is i never shut it down. Normally I just keep it close in sleep mode. Is this ok? or should I be shutting it down every once in a while?

Just checking to see whats up and if this kind of thing is or isn't something to get worred about. Thanks

1) Sounds like you're visiting a site with Flash. Safari + Flash = 100% CPU usage = hot CPU

3) That's what happens when you put a lot of cycles on the battery, especially when you drain to 0% and charging to 100%. Download coconut battery to see how many cycles you've accumulated; I'd guess about 150. Apple says their batteries are good for about 300 cycles, but you'll see quite a bit of degradation in battery life by the time you hit the 300 cycle mark.

how far should i let the batter go down before i recharge it? ive heard that its better to let it go under 20% always so that the whole thing is being used and it extends the life.

I always recharge my battery when there is less than an hour left.
