I can't help but think that my 15" Powerbook G4 (1.67GHz, dual-layer superdrive model) has a lot of dust and dirt inside of it because of stuff falling in between the keys. The same goes for trackpad as there's room for stuff there as well.
Wanting to take care of my Powerbook (I'm not one of those who buys a new computer every year because mine's "outdated") I already have a
Radtech "Sleevz" to protect it from scratches and a
ShaggyMac screen protector to protect the screen from scratches (from the keyboard) when the lid is closed.
What's left is the keyboard itself, which I've found can be solved with something like the
Iskin protouch.
The idea seems good, but is it awkward to type with it? Are there other solutions to keep dirt from entering between the keys (and of course also protecting the keytops from wear)?
