so I bought my isight maybe 4 years ago and it stoped working after maybe 1.5 years. so I stuffed it away and never touched it again. today I saw it and thought I'd connect it to see if it works. so it worked. only after pushing the firewire up the isight VERY hard. and even still if I release it at all it will lose the image. when I go to profiler it does not say anything is connected and if the isight is working it says no info available. its pretty irritating. I was thinking if I should open it and see if anything is loose but I am kind of hesitant in doing that. if anyone has any suggestions on what I should do I will appreciate that much.
Thanks
Vap

You haven't had any usefulness out of it for 2.5 years, and appears to be broken. What do you have to lose? I'd disassemble it to see if something came loose on the backside of the connector. Give it a shot.
