Help me please!
I had problems recently with my pismo unable to start up. I had to remove the keyboard and unplug the PRAM battery cable. This worked fine. My pismo finally had power.

now the problem is that once Mac OS 9.2 has loaded completely the powerbook frezees, after about 30 seconds. once I open MacHD or any other folder/application the Mac freezes. so basically i am unable to do anything, Caps locks works, the green light actually flickers when the button is pressed. The date is set to 1904 when i check the settings in the menu.

I dont seem to know what the problem is or what action i can take to rectify the proble.

Any Ideas?

Well the date goes to 1904 because the pram battery is disconnected. Holding the correct data and time is one of the functions of pram. Why did you have to disconnect it?
As far as the freezing problems, how about the usual System 9 tricks? Norton, rebuild desktop, startup with extensions disabled?

The Pram was disconnected because the Pismo was not used for some time (10months) and i needed to get it going again and i was told to do that. how can i rectify this problem with the PRAM?

Might be that the PRAM battery was just dead. I've seen Macs refuse to start up if the PRAM battery was completely drained. You might want to try reconnecting the PRAM battery cable, and replacing the PRAM battery with a fresh one.

Also, the PRAM battery will recharge after a few days plugged in. So, reconnect the batt and leave it plugged in and see if that works.

Really? I thought the PRAM batteries were all plain old lithium batteries (rather than a recharageable, such as lithium-ion). Regardless, every rechargeable battery eventually loses the ability to hold a charge. Since the Pismo is seven years old now IIRC, this could definitely be the case, in which case you'd need to replace the battery.

I've had success with recharging the internal batts since the old Duo machines, on a 5300, 1400, etc. Just takes a few days to let them get their juice. I don't know what the mechanics of it is.

Ive charged the battery and the PRAM must be fully charged and its working normally, it no longer freezes once it starts up.

However in the past it week something has happened, it now takes about an hour for the PISMO to start up its terribly slow for some reason, not sure why, It use to take about 2 minutes for it to start up it now takes so long. Any one know why? ,.

Might be the harddrive. Does it make any strange or weird noises?

I've had start up problem like that before - it was indeed the HD. It would make a stuttering -like sound when it reached (i assume) a damaged part of the HD. Replaced it - no problems what so ever now.
