I just got a 15 in MacBook Pro and I have a Powerbook G4. So i transfered my files throught firewire and everything worked until i went to watch a music video on itunes and then it wont work and itunes unexpectedly quits. what can I do does anyone know??

First, tell us more than you have a problem with your MBP in the title! Second, did you transfer JUST documents and files, or programs as well? If you transferred programs, you may have moved an old (and not well supported on the Intel platform) version of iTunes. I'd reinstall iTunes directly from Apple and try it again. Now it works i just downloaded quicktime 7 and it worked..The only other question is why are some of my songs not working on itunes on my MacBook Pro

Downloading QT7 reinstalled some of the music playing software that iTunes uses; you basically did what I said to, but from another direction. The songs that don't work may not have transferred properly. You should be able to connect the two machines back up and individually transfer those songs again. Or if you're getting an error message I'd need to see what it says to know what to do.
