It's always nice to spend someone else's money. She thought about getting laptop, an Acer, or some other 'cheap' Windows machine. I told her that if she bought a Windows machine I'd never fix it, I'm sick and tired of maintaining all the Windows machines in this household already. The threat was serious, so she asked what kind of laptop she would have to buy to get my help. An Apple. She has no experience with OSX, she knows what my PB looks like, and that I love it more that anything else. Without much fuss she told me I could buy her a MacBook.
It arrived today, and I must say I envy her. Although I prefer my 17", the speed, the look and feel of the machine are better the PB. The keyboard needs a little getting used to.
Right now it's playing a movie with Frontrow. Man, Frontrow. I got a hacked version on my PB but that remote just makes it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the smell, amazing how those whiffs just seem to pass by uncontrollably.
Playing with this MB just makes me wish for an MBP. Man, ooh man, the years I'll have to wait are going to be difficult
