I have a 1.83 intel core 2 duo mac book with 512(2x256) mb of ram, And i want to increase it to 1,25 buying a giga, looking for one I found a kingston for a very low price, reading some reviews I realized that work well with the mac, but in the details of the ram it says that is a non ecc (1GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM; Standard 128M X 64 Non-ECC 667MHz 200-pin Unbuffered SODIMM (SDRAM-DDR2, 1.8V, CL5)) and in those reviews that I read they didn't mentioned any non ecc issue. Do that memory works in my mac well?
Thanks,
Seak.

Seak -- have you referenced this memory against the MacBook memory Apple Knowledge Base article? If not, it's http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303721

Just be careful with cheap RAM and make sure it matches Apple's specifications... After you install it, be sure to run Apple Hardware Test which is found on Disc 1 of the original install DVDs that came with your MacBook.

Yes, your MacBook needs non-ECC (and may not even work with ECC).

But I can't say if that memory module would work well in your Mac.
