I have one of the new MacBooks a 2.16ghz, 2gb ram, 200gb hdd, 10.4.9, etc.

Ever since I got my MacBook I noticed a problem. Every time I right click on different folders and files, my finder restarts. I've all ready re-installed OS X but I'm still having the same problems. I also noticed another problem, when my battery runs low it totally shuts down instead of going into a "hibernation mode."

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix it I would appreciate it!

Thanks guys!!

hmm... reset PRAM is one thing I'd try. repair permissions. create a new user and see if it still happens there.

trash the preferences....

BUT, if ERASE AND INSTALL didn't do it... bring it to an apple store to have it looked at.
