I have a lot of cleaning to do today, so I want to watch a few things on my PowerBook while I do so. But, it would be better if I could display it all on my TV. But the last time I tried to get 10.4.9 to display stuff on my TV through S-Video, I couldn't get anything to show up. What do I have to do to get it to work?

* Plug SVideo cable into TV and PowerBook
* System Preferences > Displays > Detect Displays.
* Put TV on SVideo channel.

That should do it. It works for me. If it doesn't work maybe your ports or cable is bad?

Go to ComputeriGeeks and there's a videocast of exactly how to do that. It shows you how to turn your machine into an "AppleTV" of sorts. There's even links on where to get the stuff.
