Hi,

I just bought a second hand Macbook Pro, the previous user barely used it but still didn't reformat it before selling it to me, I want it to be back to its fresh state, how would I go about reformatting it ?

Its the first time I'm using a macbook, I have all the install discs aswell...

thanks a bunch

Insert the install disc into the computer.
Reboot holding the C key down
After hitting next a number of times (and agreeing to the license) you'll be prompted to select the hard drive.
Click on the options button on the lower left hand column and select reformat and install.
Click ok
Click next, select the install options and install

Simple
