Hello,

I am sorry if this has been already asked, but the search feature doesn't let me search words smaller than 4 letters. Anyways...

I recently got a little bit of ink on the palm rests, and was wondering what the best options are, that will help me remove the ink. It is rather light (rubbed off from my palms) but would still like to remove it (or try).

Thanks!
Scott

I've gotten pen marks on my white electronics before, namely my Mighty Mouse, keyboard, and iPod. No worries dude. A little rubbing alchohol and some elbow greese will take them right off. Just make sure not to get any of it inside the cracks of the machine.

I have heard alot of people talk about the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers which really clean the Macbook especially the white ones. Also I own a black Macbook and its faily easy to clean off the smudges and fingerprints with a little Windex and a clean towel.

I'm sure you could do the same thing with some rubbing alcohol and some elbow grease like the person above mentioned.

I'll second and even third that idea...Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are the way to go. I tried them for the first time this weekend, and they are great. The key tops were nice and clean, with no effect on the printing on the keys. It was surprising how much dirt came up; take a look at the sponge before and after, and you will see quite the difference.

You can also clean around the edge of the display and the whole outside of the case, but I would NOT use the Magic Eraser on the actual screen itself.
