Hi,
I've just registered to MacNN Forums due to a problem im having with my PowerBook G4, 15", 1.67 GHz.

I bought it in November 2005, and it came with an uncharging battery and a display problem. Whenever i did a high-ram-needs action, my display started to blink and eventually shutted down with the computer still on and the hard drive still writting. (I linked a quick video in http://www.mas56.cl/simon/display_problem.mov).

I used the Apple guarantee and they changed the battery so i never had any problems again. But recently my battery has lose its power (lasting aprox. 15 min at first, but now it won't last a minute) and the battery that keeps the computer asleep also doesn't work any more. (When I unplug the power cord the computer shuts down losing date and time). And with this the display problem came back. It happens when i adjust a picture in photohop, when i play a game, when i play a qt clip, even when i was exporting the quicktime video that showed the problem. It seems the only way to come back from this blackout is restarting. I intend to change both batteries, but i don't know why or what is causing the display problem. I hope anyone can help me.
