So with the procurement of my new 15" MBP, my trusty 5-year-old TiBook is now going to be used by my wife.

Currently, it is running pretty slow, as the hard drive is almost full. I'll be taking a bunch of the not-so-necessary stuff off of it, and doing a fresh re-install.

But even worse, the battery is down to about an hour and 15 minutes. My wife will be using the TiBook for commuting to and from school (over an hour on the train each way), and for taking notes in class. I'd like to get her a new battery.

In the past, I have had good experiences with NewerTech. I bought a battery from them for my old PB 3400, and a few CPU upgrades for old towers. Are they still good? Is there another manufacturer you'd recommend? Where is the best place to get a quality TiBook battery?

They're still very good batteries. And the price is similar to what Apple charged for them when new.
